LATAM Airlines Group has confirmed an order for up to 74 Embraer E195-E2 jets to improve connectivity in South America. The E195-E2 model is known for its superior fuel efficiency and passenger comfort.

Current Fleet of Avelo Airlines B737

Avelo Airlines has ordered 50 Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, with options for 50 more, becoming the first U.S. airline to operate this model. The E195-E2 features enhanced short-field performance and a range of passenger amenities, aligning with Avelo’s strategy to expand affordable travel. The aircraft will join Avelo’s existing Boeing 737NG fleet, boosting operational efficiency and network reach starting in 2027.

Embraer’s E-Jets E2 family has obtained Type Acceptance Certification from the South African Civil Aviation Authority, covering the E190-E2 and E195-E2 models. This certification enables Airlink, which has ordered 10 E195-E2 jets, to become the first operator of this model in South Africa, enhancing fleet efficiency and expanding network capacity.
