American Airlines has announced a new route connecting Charlotte Douglas International Airport to Vero Beach, Florida, enhancing its network with a 17th Florida destination. Starting February 12, 2024, the daily flights will be operated by Bombardier CRJ-700 aircraft, marking American as the third airline to serve Vero Beach. This expansion is complemented by several other new winter and event-driven routes originating from Charlotte.
