The South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) announced on August 26, 2025, that they have launched a new corporate identity, which includes the introduction of a newly designed logo. This branding change coincides with SACAA’s move to new headquarters at Byls Bridge Office Park in Centurion.
Implementation of New Branding
According to SACAA’s statement, the new logo and branding elements will be introduced gradually across various platforms, including:
- Signage
- Digital platforms
- Vehicles
- Uniforms
- Official documentation
All newly issued forms, certificates, and licenses will now incorporate the updated logo.
Reflecting Core Values
SACAA emphasizes that the refreshed identity is meant to symbolize its dedication to “safe, secure, and sustainable aviation,” emphasizing the guiding principles of Ubuntu. The gradual implementation aims to maintain operations without interruption.
Transition Details
- There will be no disruptions to applications or renewals.
- Existing certificates and licenses will remain valid until their expiration.
- Branding for events such as Industry Awards, Gender Summit, and Aviation Conferences will align with the new identity.
- The full phase-out of the previous logo is expected within 24 months.
