Qatar Airways‘ Exclusive Qsuite Business Class Expansion

Qatar Airways operates its flagship Qsuite Business Class on 22 routes from Doha, ensuring passengers experience this premium cabin consistently. With an expanded fleet of 80 Qsuite-equipped widebody aircraft, Qatar Airways’ strategic deployment guarantees this product on key long-haul services. Following a resolution with Airbus in April 2023, the reinstatement of stored A350s and new deliveries restored the Qsuite guarantee on routes like Singapore Changi Airport (SIN).

    Qatar Airways Qsuite Fleet

The Qsuite, known for its private suites with closing doors and convertible double beds, is featured on specific widebody aircraft. As of now, 80 out of 202 widebody passenger planes are fitted with the Qsuite. The breakdown includes:

    • 100% of the A350-1000 fleet (25 aircraft)
    • 29% of the A350-900 fleet (10 out of 34 aircraft)
    • 70% of the Boeing 777-300ER (40 out of 57 aircraft)
    • 71% of the Boeing 777-200LR (5 out of 7 aircraft)

Aircraft types currently without Qsuite include the A330-200, A330-300, A380, Boeing 787-8, and Boeing 787-9.

    Routes Featuring Qsuite Exclusively

Qatar Airways deploys Qsuite-equipped aircraft exclusively on 22 routes from Doha, operational until March 28, 2026. These routes utilize a mix of A350-1000s, A350-900s, 777-200LRs, and 777-300ERs.

    Codeshare Routes with Qsuite

Qatar Airways’ partnership with Virgin Australia allows codeshare flights to use Qsuite-equipped aircraft, enhancing service to Australian destinations. These routes include Brisbane (BNE), Melbourne (MEL), Perth (PER), and Sydney (SYD).

    Ensuring Access to Qsuite

Select flights on nine additional routes provide the Qsuite, allowing passengers to choose for the product. Examples include Amsterdam (AMS) and Bali Denpasar (DPS). From November 1, 2025, Kuala Lumpur (KUL) will switch to A350-1000s.

    Routes Without Qsuite

Half of Qatar Airways’ routes from Doha use non-Qsuite aircraft, typically short-haul or certain long-haul services using Boeing 787s. An alternative ‘Business Suite’ with enclosed seating is available on some routes.

Lastly, the airline provides a Qsuite Guarantee, allowing free changes to confirmed flights if operational swaps occur, ensuring customer satisfaction.
