Qantas and Jetstar Boost Brisbane-Melbourne Flights

Qantas (QF) and Jetstar (JQ) have announced plans to operate up to 27 extra flights between Brisbane (BNE) and Melbourne (MEL) to accommodate fans traveling, contingent on the Brisbane team’s victory on Saturday night.

    Flight Details

Should Brisbane win, Qantas will introduce seven additional return flights and one extra one-way flight from Melbourne to Brisbane. These services will utilize Boeing 737 aircraft.

    • Qantas: 7 additional return services and 1 one-way route
    • Jetstar: 6 extra return flights using Airbus A320 aircraft

Together, these additional services will provide over 4,500 extra seats from Friday, September 26 to Monday, September 29, supplementing the current schedule to offer more travel options for fans.
