    JetBlue Expands Fort Lauderdale Operations

JetBlue Airways has announced a significant expansion at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL), where it maintains the highest number of departures. This winter, the airline will offer up to 113 daily flights from FLL.

    New Route Introductions

Starting November, JetBlue is set to introduce nonstop services to nine new destinations, including a brand-new route to Cali (CLO) in Colombia. The expansion also includes cities across the U.S., Caribbean, and Latin America.

    • Cali, Colombia (CLO)
    • Aruba (AUA)
    • Cartagena, Colombia (CTG)
    • Grand Cayman (GCM)
    • Liberia, Costa Rica (LIR)
    • New Orleans (MSY)
    • Pittsburgh (PIT)
    • San Pedro Sula, Honduras (SAP)
    • St. Maarten (SXM)

Except for Cali, all newly introduced routes are available for booking on JetBlue’s website and mobile app.

    Enhanced Service on Existing Routes

JetBlue is also boosting services on nine heavily traveled routes, offering more daily options to:

    • Atlanta (ATL)
    • Hartford (BDL)
    • Boston (BOS)
    • San Juan, Puerto Rico (SJU)
    • Cancún, Mexico (CUN)
    • Kingston, Jamaica (KIN)
    • Punta Cana, Dominican Republic (PUJ)
    • San José, Costa Rica (SJO)
    • Santiago, Dominican Republic (STI)

This move aligns with JetBlue’s efforts to better meet customer demand with increased service frequency across its network.

    Improved Customer Experience

JetBlue is known for its value-added services. Passengers flying from FLL can enjoy amenities such as free high-speed Wi-Fi, seatback entertainment, complementary snacks and beverages, and premium Mint® service on selected flights.

The airline plans to open a dedicated Mint base for its in-flight crew in Fort Lauderdale by 2026, signaling long-term regional commitment.

    Strategic Growth and Future Plans

Since early 2025, JetBlue has launched 17 new routes from Fort Lauderdale. By December, it will operate 113 peak daily departures to 46 nonstop destinations. This expansion is part of JetBlue’s JetForward strategy to strengthen its East Coast leisure network with competitive fares and reliable service. This reinforces Fort Lauderdale’s role as a gateway to Latin America and the Caribbean and emphasizes JetBlue’s prominence in South Florida.
