Etihad Airways Expands Flights to Dublin and Prague

Etihad Airways plans to enhance its European operations next summer by increasing flights to Dublin and Prague starting in 2026. The United Arab Emirates’ national airline seeks to strengthen its presence by facilitating connectivity between Europe and its Abu Dhabi hub, along with other global destinations.

    Increased Flights to Dublin

As reported by Aero Routes, Etihad Airways will expand its flight frequency from Abu Dhabi to Dublin Airport. Starting March 29, 2026, the airline will increase the weekly frequency from 10 to 13 flights. This is part of a two-phase increase culminating in 14 weekly flights from April 6, achieving a twice-daily service. Routes will use the Boeing 777-300ER and 787-9 aircraft.

Dublin remains a significant European destination for Etihad, marking its 15th anniversary at the airport in 2022. Martin Richard Drew of Etihad Airways stated that the Dublin route is crucial for connecting Irish travelers to multiple destinations globally.

    Daily Flights to Prague

Etihad Airways will also upgrade its Abu Dhabi to Prague route. Currently served by Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners, the route will increase from four to six weekly flights starting March 29, 2026, with daily services beginning April 7. The Dreamliners will offer 290 seats, composed of 28 business and 262 economy class seats.

    Changes in Asian Routes

Besides European expansions, Etihad Airways filed changes for Asia routes. The Airbus A321LR will replace the older A320 aircraft on the Abu Dhabi to Male flights starting April 2, 2026, providing enhanced services. The A321LR will also take over Boeing 787-9 duties on Abu Dhabi to Phuket flights beginning April 1, advancing the schedule initially set for May 1. The Phuket route will be served with two A321LRs and two 787-9s for the summer.
