Condor to Retire Boeing 757 Fleet in November
Condor, the German leisure airline, has announced the upcoming retirement of its Boeing 757 fleet in November. Having been a part of the airline since 1990, the 757 fleet currently consists of seven Boeing 757-300 models. The retirement aligns with Condor’s transition to an all-Airbus fleet.

A special opportunity awaits aviation enthusiasts as Condor plans a farewell flight on November 5. On this date, a Boeing 757-300 will fly from Frankfurt to Vienna, marking the end of an era with a special ceremony before returning to Frankfurt.
- Nostalgic cabin announcements and personal stories from crew and management will be shared on the flight.
- In Vienna, a press conference will feature Condor’s management and airport representatives, offering a behind-the-scenes airport experience without full entry into Austria.
- The celebration will conclude with a farewell party at Frankfurt’s gate.

Farewell to a Classic
Until November, the Boeing 757-300s will remain operational in regular service, providing the last opportunities for flying with this model. The retirement will signify the conclusion of one of Europe’s last 757 fleets.
After November, only Delta, United, and Fly Khiva will continue operating the 757-300 model, making Condor’s farewell significant in the European aviation context.
“By bidding farewell to the Boeing 757, an era at Condor comes to an end,” stated Christian Schmitt, COO of Condor. “This marks the beginning of a new chapter with a modern, more efficient, and sustainable Airbus fleet. Moreover, our farewell flight symbolizes both the nostalgia of the last B757 and a positive outlook with our new city destination, Vienna.”
