The first deliveries of the Boeing 777X are anticipated in late 2026. However, due to recent certification delays, there is potential for the timeline to extend into 2027. Boeing’s CEO, Kelly Ortberg, noted, “We are getting to a point in the certification program where we need to be burning down the certification of – think of it as for score completion of the task—and we are falling behind on the certification.”

    Strong Market Demand

Despite these delays, there is a sustained interest in the world’s largest twin-engined widebody aircraft. Boeing continues to receive orders from various clients, maintaining strong demand for the 777X.
