Singapore’s military has confirmed the procurement of four Boeing P-8A Poseidon maritime patrol aircraft to replace its older Fokker 50 turboprops, which have been operational since 1993. Defense Minister Chan Chun Sing announced this acquisition during a meeting in Washington with United States Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth.
