    Tragic Workplace Accident Involving Jet Engine in San Antonio

    David Monroe, a prominent 72-year-old businessman and founder of the San Antonio Museum of Science and Technology (SAMSAT), died after a tragic incident at the Boeing Center located in San Antonio’s Tech Port on Friday. According to San Antonio police, a 5,000-pound jet engine, while being moved, rolled unexpectedly, causing Monroe to fall off the dock before the engine fell on him. He was declared deceased at the scene.
