    Air India Express Expands International Network with New Bengaluru to Bangkok Flights

    Air India Express, under Tata Group’s ownership, is set to enhance its international presence by launching daily non-stop flights between Bengaluru (BLR) and Bangkok (BKK) starting on October 18, 2025. This new route is strategically timed to cater to increased demand during the festive and holiday seasons.

    Special Launch Fares

    To commemorate the launch, the airline is offering special fares:

    • Round-trip fares from Bengaluru to Bangkok start at ₹16,800.
    • One-way tickets are priced at ₹9,000 from Bengaluru and ₹8,850 from Bangkok.

    Bookings for these flights are now available through the Air India Express website, mobile app, and major travel platforms.

    Timetable and Route Expansions

    The new service strengthens Bengaluru’s direct access to one of Southeast Asia’s top-rated destinations, Bangkok. Known as the world’s most visited city, Bangkok draws millions annually with its historical sites, culinary offerings, and vibrant nightlife.

    This new connection augments Air India Express’ existing routes in Thailand, which include services to Lucknow, Pune, Surat, and a link from Hyderabad to Phuket. By adding Bengaluru, Air India Express enhances its role in connecting India and Thailand.

    Bengaluru remains a crucial domestic hub for Air India Express, hosting 440 weekly domestic flights across 30 cities and four international connections. Recent domestic route additions include flights to Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, and Dehradun, which support the airline’s growth strategies.

    Passenger Experience Enhancements

    Air India Express is focused on delivering enhanced passenger experiences with services like Xpress Biz, equivalent to business class, and Xpress Ahead for priority services. Onboard, travelers can enjoy Gourmair’s Indian and international dishes. The airline also offers a digital platform for easy bookings and a loyalty program that offers personalized travel perks.

    Additionally, Air India Express celebrates India’s cultural diversity through its Tales of India initiative, showcasing traditional art on aircraft tails. This reflects its commitment to cultural storytelling alongside modern travel conveniences.

    A subsidiary of Air India, Air India Express manages over 500 daily flights across 41 domestic and 17 international airports, operating 115 aircraft, including Boeing 737s and Airbus A320s. The “Fly As You Are” brand emphasizes personalized travel, digital convenience, and Indian hospitality.

    Upon arriving at either Don Mueang (DMK) or Suvarnabhumi (BKK) Airports, visitors are immersed in Bangkok’s unique blend of traditions and dynamism. Featuring centuries-old temples, vibrant markets, and a contemporary skyline, the city offers diverse experiences.

    Must-See Attractions in Bangkok

    • The Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew: Bangkok’s most visited sites, featuring the sacred Temple of the Emerald Buddha. Dress codes apply, and early visits are recommended to beat crowds.
